I get it, some of us have Daddy issues.. but sweetie, this Father has a whole lot more planned out than some drunk who doesn't deserve the title.

Father, this terms means He has has responsibility to take care of His children As a Father He is to be the head of the household.
Now why do you think God uses this term.. oh yeah because He promises us that He will take care of us! I'll be a little personal for a second. I have a horrible biological father. I don't consider him to even deserve the title. The drank all the time and slept during the times he was supposed to be spending time with his family. I built up so much anger towards him it started affecting my anxiety and I'd lash out. I still do occasionally, but I'm a lot better then what I use to be. HOWEVER, I was not as close with God at the time of all my anger and stress over this "suppose to be" father.
I want to share with you, whether you're a girl or boy, fourteen or forty.. God is the Father. God promises us everlasting love and gives us a gift no one else can. Our earthly sperm donors should not keep us from being happy and stealing moments when we should be joyful. I struggle with that a lot but I cannot stress that I soon realized that God quickly replaced that emptiness and filled it with love. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world.." you are included in that. I didn't think I was until I took the time to work on myself through the Lord.
